looks like al lawrence's site is down and he is having life problems.
i used to think he was an a-hole because he would post a lot of ads.

he was really just a guy who bought out other authors and he was
trying to keep games alive and get his investment back.

i recommend colonies, quest for nora, wheel of fortune and maybe atlantis.

colonies is fun to play with a small group of friends.

I only ask because I got that bundle like 10+ years ago (don't currently offer the doors, but still have the saved email with the codes), so I don't know the current status of registration or if Al's around anymore.

Yeah, he's done. The sunrisedoors.com website has been giving an "Error 500" for close to two years now. One day I reached out to him to ask if he was aware, and he replied saying, "Yes, I am aware that the website is down Permanently. Mother Nature has a way of telling you to call it quits !!!!" (with the word "Permanently" underlined and bolded).

I didn't ask him what he meant by that at the time. I just thanked him for his time and the doors and left it at that.

i went on archive.org and looks like it's been down with the server error since 2024

his emails from from his domain and i'm not sure if he still has that domain. looks like i paid him 55.55 in 2012. paypal receipt doesnt show his info.

On a positive note, he offered those doors with free keys via that website for quite awhile before deciding to close up shop. I'm guessing he has no way to open source them or make some kind of master key to put out there for everyone to use. So I suppose as long as he's cool with passing around existing keys, we can at least continue to do that.
