I am thinking with government restrictions in Australia and
the United Kingdom, we should be using BBSing as an alternative
medium. Its akin to HAM radio now.
You should not need to submit your ID just to use a bloody search
engine.

they would jump on that shit and regulate it in a heart beat.
someone can do a year in jail for saying immigrants are bad in uk.

Not sure what you're talking about here. I have certainly never done
that

You have to show your ID if you want pr0n in the UK.
It is a propaganda piece designed to teach children that watching righht-wing videos in social media or handing out political
advertisements will get you arrested. In fact, they outright
imply that private messaging platforms are terroristic.

Fun fact, there is a character in that game whose role is that of an evil right-wing antagonist trying to turn you into a radical. Can you imagine what happens when you put a patriotic hot goth girl in front of 14 year olds? Yeah, they turned her into a right-wing icon, much like Torrente
was turned into a right-wing icon in Spain despite the fact he was
created to ridicule the right-wing.
That's nothing - according to Trump, you need to show ID in the US to

well if you complain about immigrants raping young local girls you
go to jail for a year.
i would call that restricting, but i'm crazy that way.
UK, Australia and certain EU countries have been acting bonkers for some years already, planning to mandate hard ID for using certain online services.

Not sure that these two topics are related.
But if you rape, a year is too lenient.

He specifically mentioned Australia and the United Kingdom. They have different laws there, and I assume that's what he was referring to.

1) I have said they have been acting bonkers about it and planning to enforce it for years, not that they have those plans deployed necessarily.
2) Spain has openly been planning to enforce soft cryptographical identification and the standards they intend to use to enforce them are public.
3) "The laws, which were brought in at the beginning of October, require people in the UK to prove they are 18 or older before being allowed to access adult content online. Users must now provide either a digital ID, driver’s licence, or passport details, or use a third-party verification service before viewing explicit material." Ali Kayani on The Issue on 13/8/2025

I would imagine you could get a photo of your state or government issued ID (either by taking a photo of it with your smartphone or scanning it where a scanner is available), and then upload the photo from the device you're using. Or, if they're really strict, maybe they'd mave someone video chat with you and you'd show them via webcam.
Huh?
I find it interesting that foreigners tell stories of what is needed to be done in Australia and how life here is bad because of it.

These could include government IDs, face or voice recognition,
