    Salvation is by believing in Jesus...putting all your faith and trust in him. Believe and thou shalt be saved. Only Jesus can save you from your sins and make heaven your home for eternity. We can't save ourselves, only Jesus saves.

    I agree, but while offering advice to people in general I'd say "God" instead of Jesus. There are people who never read the bible but still believe in God.

    As Christians, we shouldn't go around trying to get people to understand concepts. God is not a concept, he's the central part of nature. When you tell people "You'd better understand a concept so that you can go to heaven" what they're hearing is "He's going to heaven and I'm not."
