Anyone reading this echo?
Yes. But few posts here. Nice to see some activity :-)
I'm here too, but not sure if 'here' is more than one BBS... :-)
Trying to find one to call 'home' :-)

Heh... I'd just use your favourite telnet client like netrunner or SynchTerm
and have a good look around. There are quite a few BBS out there still. PH>Depends on what yuo are looking for.

If I didn't have to worry about thunderstorms so much here in a combination of Tornado Alley and Dixie Alley, the BBS would be up more often. But, I'm not going to argue with lightning...especially with
being a 2 time lightning strike survivor myself. :P
He laughed, sighed, and admitted "Yeah, that's true"...then said "Get back to work". :P

Paul,
Speaking of weather, thunderstorms are approaching (it's tornado season), so I have to finish the QWK Mail and BBS work quickly, and
shut things down before the lightning arrives.
Yeah - we've chatted some when I've logged in. I beleive I've found a
BBS "home base" with Neptune's Lair. I do see that you are using OLX, JA>though, and I used that years ago. This MultiMail is okay, but I want
to find OLX and give it a try...

LOL - nice. :-)
Hate to be off topic AGAIN, but yeah was expecting bad weather today, JA>especially after we chatted again last night and you told me as such,
but it was VERY pleasant today in Northwest Tennessee. Now, about an
hour ago, the next county over is in a Tornado Watch til 2 AM...

There are many signs the world over that at some time in the distant
past, much of the world was covered by water.
It used to amaze me to be walking on the desert in Arizona or Utah and come across sea shells or fossilized imprints of sea horses in shell material.
And in bare cliff faces you can sometimes see what geologists say are `high water marks' from long ago. Strange.

I wish I could remember that hymn that notes in the verse that "Storm clouds rise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy Throne". There are several verses in
Scripture, indicative of weather phenomena. The most obvious one is the Noahic Flood in Genesis.
