I wish I could remember that hymn that notes in the verse that "Storm clouds rise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy Throne". There are several verses in Scripture, indicative of weather phenomena. The most obvious one is the Noahic Flood in Genesis.

I did a quick google and found it - God is Like the Wind - guess

... If this were an actual tagline, it would be funny.

I am glad to see some activity in this echo again. I took a look at the link to Daryl's poem. Thanks Daryl for publishing such a great poem. It was so good that I emailed the link to my wife whom I know will appricate it also.

    Later,
    Bill

Yep, that's from one of the poems The Good Lord gave me. Yet, there is also a hymn that has that. It was in the song book of the church where my late wife attended. As a courtesy to her, I went to her church through our marriage, although custom dictates that the wife goes to the groom's church after they are married.

The problem is, I don't have a copy of that hymn book, and the only thing I can remember, besides the line of "Storm clouds rise and tempests blow, by order from Thy Throne", is I *THINK* the tune is the same to "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna! To Thee, Redeemer King"...but I'm not sure.

Another thing is that several hymns use the tunes from others, so it can get confusing at times.
