The heartbreak of Houston has been flashed around the world and it is
hard to watch without feeling empathy for the people there.
PRIMA uses a server farm in Houston to store some of our more critical databases and support some of our web services.
When I first saw the pictures I couldn't help thinking that they could
be forgiven if they were unable to maintain their Service Level
Agreement... (which, in essence, promises uninterrupted service through everything, barring nuclear attack or major earthquakes etc.)
Not a bit of it. The Texans were true to their promise and we have had
NO interruption to our services.
I congratulate them and send every good wish for a speedy recovery and clean-up.
Pete.
