4 lb Chicken;
- up to 5 lb,
- giblets removed
3 tb Extra virgin olive oil
2 tb Lime juice
6 cl Garlic
1/2 tb Kosher salt
2 ts Paprika
1 ts Black pepper
1 tb Cumin
1 ts Dried oregano
2 ts Brown sugar
2 tb Soy sauce
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 50 minutes
This Peruvian Air Fryer Whole Chicken is covered in a delicious
marinade and then air fried. It has crispy flavorful skin and juicy
meat. It's the perfect air fryer whole roasted chicken.
Blend marinade ingredients in food processor until smooth. Set aside.
Rub the marinade all over chicken, including under the skin and on the
inside. Allow chicken to marinate for 6 to 24 hours, the longer the
better.
Place in air fryer, breast side down. Cook on 360?F for 30 minutes.
Open air fryer basket and flip chicken. Then cook on 360?F for
20 minutes more.
Your chicken is done when a quick read thermometer in thickest part of
chicken registers at 165?F.
Allow chicken to rest for 15 to 20 minutes before carving.
