The assembly of the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association has elected Tage Pettersen
as new President on Sunday. Pettersen, who joined the board as a Vice President
last year, succeeds Nils Gerhard Nilsen.
The Annual Assembly took place on Saturday and Sunday next to Oslo Airport and elected a new board on Sunday that includes Tage Pettersen as new President. Lise Kvil Torgersen, who joined the board one year ago, has been named new Vice
President.
Tage Pettersen, a former chairman of his hometown club IL Krakene Moss and mayor of the town between 2011 and 2017, has been a full member of the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget) since 2017 as a representant of the Ostfold County in southeastern Norway.
