    I don't understand how Norway comes into the picture. In the southeast
    we have Estonia, to the east we have Finland and to the west Sweden and
    in north the border between Sweden/Finland. Norway is beyond all those.

    Thats closer than my friend in munich.

    I don't know where you got those distances. Hamburg is ca. 900 km from
    here and the distance between Hamburg - Mnchen is less than 500 km as
    the birds fly.

    Hmm.. My Google Maps says that the walking distance between Hamburg and Munich is 692km... :D

    Well, I wrote "as the birds fly" ;o)
    They usually fly in a straight line.

    My map is the Bonniers Stora V„rldsatlas. If I had the geographical
    locators of both sites I could come to another result.
