Yea, it's happened to me before. They want to get the last word in, and they want that last word to be a distraction. But they ignorantly forget who they're trying to fool.

But they also care less about the future since their time is short. When I'm 80, I'm not going to care about the same things as I do now.

I've noticed this too. My dad for example. He's MAGA, but he won't vote. He don't care for that exact reason. But he has kids and grandkids, which makes it a bad excuse.

But their tactics have worked for so long. They don't understand that the rest of us are wise to them now and they don't work anymore.

But I can see in his mind how much effort it will take vs. the impact of 1 vote (that will probably get lost or corrupted) on things.
