I had a account with Comcast business I made 14 calls and 8 times they came out to fix it and of course they never did, I had people that couldn't connect to my business web site and the telent I wont even go into talking about the lag was so bad that it reminded me of 1200 USR modem.
Yesterday I got a last bill being I called and stated I have had enough.
I
got my bill for over 4000.00 dollars being I was on a contract.
What a joke I lost business, I lost my hobby due to lag with telnet with them and a bill!
I don't think your doing too bad being now I have to hire a lawyer and fight Comcast in court.
Good luck, Greg

Today, our internet was in and out most of the day... now it's
connecting at least... but it is incredibly SLOW though (about 5k
speed!!)
I called them and was told they typical in a recording: "There are outages... You may be affected... Do you want to hang up or..." Heh.. after a few choice words, I hung up... didn't help but _I_ felt better Lol..
Anyway if you can hold off polling until later tonight it might be
better then, who knows...

I have 10-15% packet loss under load (about 50-70mbit/s) and it's disturbing.

We do have a choice and I switched to AT&T gbit fiber for $80.00 per month. $40.00 cheaper than what I was paying Comca$t and for much more speed :)

From the modem to the rest of the network, 975Mb/sec. Up and
downstream. I checked the speedvia the speed test app on my desktop
this afternnon and it was about 750MBits/sec. Then again, I have
several VMs running on my desktop PC plus a couple of other physical servers on my network as well.

For insttance, the speed I get if I telnet to you from here in Mississippi may not be the same someone gets when they connect to you from China.
