Janis,
Yes, great to see Dale come back to fidonet :)
It's always good to see a new/return face to the net. :) Although, I didn't know him previously, I look for what he has to contibute.
Hope all is going well your way... :)
In about two weeks I will be at the same job for 9 months and I am getting more financially stable than I was before. I'm hoping to get all my bills paid by the year 2020 and upgrade to a new system. In the meantime, I will just keep shelling out my paychecks to what I owe, although it doesn't feel too good, but once they're paid off, I'm sure I'll start to feel better. A note to those that like to spend more than they make: don't do it. It has it's consequences. Sure I could leave the bills unpaid, but I believe in doing the right thing.
I just published the first issue of my e-Ministries devotional to the MINISTER Fidonet echo last night. I plan to publish every week, although, thinking about it and time being present, I may be able to publish more frequently. I'm using Sundays as a starting base and go from there. I had articles in the past, but due to technical/personal/financial problems, I had lost my files and messages to continue from where I was at. So... I decided to start over in hope to touch a few people interested.
Life is going pretty good right now. My wife hasn't had to visit the emergency rooms so much like she used to in years past. In fact, I believe she's only went maybe 2 times in the last 3 years, since our return from Texas. Work is good. I am making new friends and meeting a lot of new people. Although it feels like a drag to get out of bed, but after a few hours of being at work, I feel totally different and enjoy what I do. I'm wanting to move up to full time and eventually move into a bigger place. But, in the meantime, we're not going to be forced out of our home like the last few times, due to stupid people causing drama and problems; we're sticking to our guns and staying here until we are *ready* to the move up.
I do like the mods that you made to >>Prism BBS on the telnet side. Took a quick peak last night while looking for the old issues like I just mentioned, but it does look good.
