    believe I pay for this cruddy service :(

    Just in case anyone tried dialing in over here...

    With the provider I am using (Centurylink) I have been having sporadic DNS issues. I gave up using their DNS servers and switched to alternate servers. Sometimes out of ten tries to resolve a destination it would only resolve maybe

    3-4 out of 10. The actual connects would be sporadic.

    Just in case anyone tried dialing in over here...

    I haven't tried dialing anyone up in quite some time. :-) Haven't had my USR DS's hooked up in years.

    I can't believe TWCable sometimes... they force us to have a business account since I run "servers"... and charge us over $200.00 a month just for internet service... I really think they just reset -all- systems at their whim businesses as well as just joe-customer.

    Well, you can call it what you will, telnet, phone, mailer, whatever :) It's all "dialing up" to me.. <grin> but I do have my USRobotics modem hooked up here.
