Ive never had a problem with IREX. I would suggest you try to get on
the Alpha AUP and use the new PX betas which have binkp built in.

On a blue moon Irex would crash, didn't happen very often but it did.

If you own a copy of PXW v7 then you should have received a file called pxwin-10..0.500.2-setup.exe in your Catbox folder.

What a sh!t show... I did that and It took me back to version 7... I was running 10.
I had mismatch sever issues ... copied a dll over to pxw now its up and running again.

Not sure which file you are referring to but if you run AUP Alpha you
will defintely have the latest files. You have to manually run pxwin-setup.exe after any update of PXW file, the AUP will tell what has been updated.

it ran the v7 not v10. V10 pxwin-setup.exe should have 04/23/2026 date.

I was running WildCat on a 32bit OS/PC
I received my PC from China yesterday... Installed Windows 10 64Bit
and ran through the process you said ... and I was able to find the correct file with the correct date.
Now I'll have to work on the configuration not

For Binkp there is only one file you need which is BINKP.UMP which
should be in the PXW folder, you need to copy that file to the WCAT
folder and then import it into the Modems list. Instructions are in the AUP help.

I am not on that PC right now... I will change and respond. I have
looked into this a little deeper.
What I have found was this... I can call the system and transfer files
as intended. BUT... If I have mail for a system and my new and improved system calls them I get the error... of bad address or password.

Have you run pxwin-setup.exe with date 04/23/2026 which will give you the latest update of Beta 22.
Try to do a manual poll of a node you have an issue with, does PXW try
to poll or do you get an error?
Post a cut of the poll from PXW node log.
If you post this sort of issue with detail on the pxwin Listserver then WSA will help as well.

Terry I will... but Hector did an other release /alpha that included changes to PXW. Do I just use that command line to access that??
Maybe I can do that.
I was playing with things today... and its just this way... If I poll
or if I have mail to send I get the error wrong node or password.
If a system calls me it'll authenticate correctly and send any mail I
have for the system.

Same thing... and I did check the file date for pxwin-setup.exe and it
had yesterdays date in it.
I ran that file and fired things up and I get he same thing. There has

Beta 24 was just releaseed so run the alpha AUP and then run the new pxwin- setup.exe.
Then report any issues with a cut of the log showing the issue.

I fixed it.... ephing AWESOME....
It was the case of the password. I changed all my password to number
and I was good to go.
I don't care any more because now it works!!!
