So version 3 of wcQWKnet will be available sometime today hopefully.
I just need to add one more section of new code and it will be set.
Once that is all done, I am thinking of putting wcQWKnet to bed as a
finished product since I think I have gone about as far as I can with
it feature set and functionality wise.

Also, effective yesterday, the HTML interface for winserver.org was
turned off, so the only way to access that system is via telnet to winserver.org. I am looking to promote and develop the ANSI
interface more since a BBS isn't a "real" BBS with a web interface,
IMO. Might as well be running Exchange or PHPBB in that case.

In order for the BBS to survive it must evolve. The Web and SmartPhone apps
are what delivers the majority of todays traffic. And as previously stated message editors will also need to evolve. Maintaining text based functionality is only driving more nails in the BBS coffin.

No insult intended, BUT.. If i had Winserver running I'd hide it's web interface too!

My two cents worth as usual :)

... Just my two cents worth - don't shoot the messenger :)
