As much as I love all the conviniences of new tech, I was thinking about how much more I valued data when I had to work to get it. Recording music to casset tapes, aquireing text files on foppy and getting information on BBSs/News Groups/etc. So funny enough I started asking ChatGPT how to get back on any available BBSs and that's how I ended up here. Is everyone else being nostalgic for the old days a bit what brought you here, or any other thoughts/feeling what brought you here?
Please forgive any spelling/grammer issues, I've gotten very reliant on the red squiggly lines ;)

I remember attempting several times to download some shareware over 1200 baud only to have someone pick up the phone or some checksum error to pop up. The BBSand the keyboard driven experience was amazing then and still to a lesser extent today. I wonder what you could do with some 56K modems today. "Cheers!" to
simpler times, m8!
