Hi, this seems the last non-spam message?
Anyone lurking?
I'm lurking. Haven't brewed since I made a small batch of strawberry
mead a year ago.

Hi John, I'm curious on starter kits that are just fun to play with and
won't make me broke.
Starter kits for beer, mead, cider? Do you have any gear at all, or are
you looking for a kit that includes the equipment you'll need too?
If you've got a local brewing store, they can probably help you piece
together what you need to get a basic brew going, as long as you're
clear on what you actually want ("my first brew, with extracts" not
"advanced all-stainless homebrew installation"). Cider and mead are way
easier in my opinion than beer, especially if you enjoy your cider still
(a good still cider or mead beats a white wine, in my opinion).
