    I'm sure you could create a new alt group for MX. I'm not so sure it's
    needed or would thrive.

    For now it's probably better to discuss MX in one of the existing Linux newsfroups. If a lot of people start discussing it, then you can think
    about creating a new group.

    comp.os.linux.misc is probably a good bet, as noted above.

    We are, sadly, no longer in the heyday of Usenet, so there aren't huge
    amounts of traffic in most of the text newsgroups. There is thus plenty
    of room for all in the existing groups.
