    I upgraded to Linux Mint 22.2 (LTS) on my battlestation.

    So far, so good.

    Also wrote a perl tool to watch my voice mail directory
    for new voice mails, and run xmessage(1) if it sees something
    new. I'm using vgetty(8) which is a bit of a mess to set
    up on Mint, but I got it running satisfactorily...with help
    from ChatGPT5 in "thinking" mode.

    Another "AI"[1] success story. Take that, Lawrence. :P

    [1] It's not really AI, it's just Markov chains on steroids.
