    I can't address Ron's 22.3 Linux Mint version that I can't find but 22.2

I think the replacement is Fastfetch, but this was before the Woke Neofetch, so I don't know what's going on with that.

Yeah, I think that happened with Debian 13. I tried out LMDE 7 (based on Debian 13) and it think that's what confused me. I'm pretty sure Neofetch is not avaialble in Debian 13 (which is what Ubuntu 25 uses and Linux Mint 23 will be using).

    I'll double check this.

Okay, I confirmed that LMDE 7 (which uses Debian 13) does NOT have neofetch
in its repsository. It does have fastfetch, however. I'm guessing the
regular Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu) will see this change when Linux Mint 23 comes out.

Sorry for my confusion on this.

The beta was released yesterday but after you'd posted.

It's still using Ubuntu 24.04.3 so may have neofetch. There are cosmetic changes but I'm usually in an i3 session rather than Cinnamon so nothing

was I using CircuitPython, MicroPython, or the C/C++ SDK with the Pico W
on that box? Which IDE, if any?

My Debian box has Xfce. I was sort of surprised when I added xfce4 to the
LM laptop that the default layout was quite a bit different.

I've still got Fedora installed on a laptop, but I haven't looked at it

I've got Fedora on an older Dell tower. I tend to use different machines

It is a lot different. I'm not a big fan of "standard" Xfce, but I like the way Linux Mint customizes it.

Just because you play "dress up" doesn't
mean I have to play "make believe."

I didn't run it long enough to get used to it but it seemed strange since
I've only used the standard layout. That said I was never crazy about the menus and stuff on the top but never bothered to change it. The
fascination with 'ricing' wore off a couple of decades ago with IceWM
except for moving the tray icons back to the left in Win11 or configuring
apps that default to the dark mode.
