    years.
    By far the longest he ever stayed in one place. He actually did become
    part of that community.

    I wouldn't call myself a part of the community. It's not my nature.

    Not mine either. But I kind of learned this from my Dad, which makes it odd that he DID become part of the community in Altus.

    My father did get active in the VFW post. I think it was a place to escape from a menopausal dragon and a hormonal teenager.
