The Neo is an impressive machine for the price... and selling very
well.
Maybe soon to be not so impressive, and maybe not sell so “very
well” ...
Aaaannd ... the prices have gone up.
As have the prices of EVERY OTHER PERSONAL COMPUTER.
Plus Tim Cook telegraphed the price increase intent, so consumers who
were on the edge of buying something new had the opportunity to beat the increase.
Case in point, we've been contemplating replacing some older devices for
a couple of months now, so we ordered replacements at the old price; ETA
next week. While I was at it, I also noted that some of the household
UPS's batteries are calendar-wise EOL, so I ordered a battery tester and
a few battery packs: next up is to test, cull & replace some of them.
