    He did a pretty good job - within the tech/budget/story
    constraints of the film.

    Knew a guy who called him uncle Bob. Apparently
    uncle Bob was kinda weird, not exactly the life
    of family gatherings :-)

    In any case, it shows that much of the know-how, issues
    and calculations for going to the moon were already there
    by '49 ... they just needed considerably bigger rockets.
