That's a lot of games for someone who doesn't have the GOG client....

    Let's make it 161.

DID YOU SEE THAT? GOG HAS QUESTRON II FOR THE PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes; but again, the value of Galaxy is that it checks ownership across >> several gaming platforms, you just have to add them in Settings

I still need to figure out how to do that. I've got so many games between >GOG, EPIC, Steam, Amazon, and all the specific publisher ones.

It's in Settings. However, Galaxy uses "integration plugins" to connect
to the different services, which often are not included in the base Galaxy install, or have to be updated if your connect attempt fails.
Here's an example I just did today: To add/update the EA plugin, search for "GitHub repository for the EA integration plugin", leading to https://github.com/BellezaEmporium/galaxy-integration-ead
Check the readme there for directions, download the windows.zip, run the install.bat, and boom now you can connect and login to EA and it will know your library there.

My Ubisoft connection also didn't work, so do the same search, leading to here: https://github.com/DragonicDefson/GOGUbisoft
Check the readme again, which is a bit more complicated but straightforward, download the Zip package from the Code dropdown button, and follow the directions (after first exiting Galaxy!), then start up Galaxy and connect

And again, Playstation integration wasn't working, so do the search for "GitHub repository for the playstation integration plugin" leading to https://github.com/BellezaEmporium/galaxy-integration-psn
download the Zip from the Code dropdown, exit Galaxy first, open the zip
while reading the readme closely (it is yet more complicated, but took just
a few minutes and worked the first time for me), and restart galaxy and connect.
This plugin only seems to list installed or digital games and apparently is temporary, as per the readme.

Similar procedures for Epic, XBox Live, and Steam, if the builtin ones
    aren't working right away.

Is this a hassle? I suppose, but when you have a billion games spread all over the internet, GoG Galaxy is still useful to me and likely others here
    for quickly checking ownership.

Oh, ok. This is not a service I need. And as far as I know, Galaxy
itself never got the kindest reviews. I remember another service
called Playnite I think getting better reviews. Maybe things have
    changed.

Personally, I don't need them. I can just check my libraries
separately when I need something but to each his or her own.

When Galaxy first announced this functionality (it wasn't there from
the start) I was quite excited about it. But it's practical usage
never quite measured up to its promise.

For one thing, as mentioned above, it can be extremely finicky to get
working. Half the supported platforms are through third-party
plug-ins; by default, Galaxy just connects with Epic, Steam and GOG.
Not only does this require you to rely on unknown developers for the
plug-ins, but there is often a delay with updates; which means
sometimes there can be quite a gap between, say, PS+ changing their
format or log-in requirements, and GOG Galaxy actually supporting
    those changes.

It's also _slow_. Well, at least it is for me (I may be outside the
usual use case, though, given my excessively large libraries).
Updating the Steam library in particular takes forever, largely
because GOG seems to update the ENTIRE library every time it starts up
rather than just checking for missing games.

Oh, and you have to keep your Steam profile public for it to work at
    all.

I was really hoping that Galaxy was going to be 'the one' for clients
when its integration was first announced, but it quickly became more troublesome to use than I liked. Instead, I turned to Playnite https://playnite.link/ which did everything GOG Galaxy promised, and
    more.

Playnite has a hell of a lot more support for different services built
in, it gets frequent updates, and is a lot more customisable. Plus, it
has support for most major emulators* (if that's important to you). It
is even further upgradable with plug-ins, although I don't think I've
ever bothered; the base program is so feature-rich already. Heck, with
a little bit of effort you can even use it to list/launch non-games
(including files like PDFs or AVI movie-files) if that's really your
thing. It's not what it's really meant for, but it can do it, that's
    how customisable it is.

The launcher is 'third-party' and I understand that may make some
people are bit nervous about entering their passwords into it. On the
other hand, the program is open source, and it's been around for years
and years without anyone finding anything hinky going on (it's
certainly more open than some of the GOG Galaxy plugins)

Whenever I want a quick reference to all my games, it's Playnite I
use, not GOG. It's faster and offers a more complete listing. Which
isn't to say GOG Galaxy isn't without merit, and if GOG Galaxy works
for you, great! But in my case --with all the games I have-- Playnite
    is the _far_ superior option.

    * it doesn't have emulation built in, but it supports it with pre-made configurations that recognize a lot of the emulators. I myself
primarily use it with DOSBox so I can list/launch all my hundreds of
    DOS games.
