• FREE GAME: Lost in Anomaly

For a while, the Indie-darlings were horror-themed platformers; then first-person puzzlers, then openworld-survival, and then a whole bunch
more. What I'm trying to say is Indie games go through fads, and the
newest one seems to be SCP-themed games. Case in point:

    * Lost in Anomaly
    https://store.steampowered.com/app/3312020/Lost_in_Anomaly/
A first-person horror game with SCP themeing with a hint
of backrooms/liminal horror. Wander an abandoned office
building and spot anomalies. Mostly a walking simulator
in gameplay. This is an early access game and doesn't look
too bad (if you enjoy the theme) but neither does it stand
out from the crowd; it's another follow-the-leader game
(and not even a very good one, if the reviews are anything
to go by) that you only play if you adore the genre, rather
than something you play for its own intrinsic value. Not
    terrible, but incredibly niche.

This one is free-to-keep, but you only have until Monday to claim it.

Ooh, how exciting! An _abandoned_ early-access game. A game even the
developers don't have any faith in either. A must-add for every
    library.

(No, I didn't take it either... but more because of the reviews than
anything else. I actually sort of like SCP-related stuff. It's a shame
I keep getting burnt on the genre because so much of its games are
just terrible. But this one looked so bad I didn't even feel like
    giving it a try)

I normally don't take early access stuff. But my kids are into SCP etc.
    so I took it.
