    Oh, hey. I didn't see you there. I'm just setting up these free games
    I got on Epic. You do know there are free games given away on Epic
    every Thursday, right? Yup, every week. Don't worry, I'll be here to
    remind you. Like take this week; look at these games they have on
    offer.

    * Boxes: Lost Fragments https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/boxes-lost-fragments-079041
    A logic-puzzler where you have to open an bunch of puzzle
    boxes. Looks well made and I can see myself getting invested
    in it for a little while... but I'm pretty sure I'd tire of
    the thing by the third box. (If you've Amazon Prime, you may
    already have collected this freebie as it was a give-away
    there last July.)

    * My Night Job
    https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/my-night-job-a416a6
    A side-scrolling action/brawler with pixel-graphics and
    zombies. For what it is, it looks okay... but it also looks a
    lot like a mobile game I played back in the 2010s. Walk left
    and shoot (or chainsaw, or whatever) trying to rescue people.
    It's simple fun, but it doesn't look like a game that would
    have enough depth for extended gameplay. Fine on a handheld,
    where sessions last only a few minutes, but on a PC? I'd want
    a bit more meat... and brains.

    See? Free games, just like I said. Not the greatest, but also not the
    worst either. All you have to do is go there and collect them. Or
    don't; it's all up to you. But you better decide quick, 'cause in
    seven days these games are gone.

    But then I'll be back to announce the next batch!
