As maintenance, I just got rid of every specific poster in my killfile.
What do you think will happen? Lol

You can see me again? ;-)

I'm sorry. I'll go back in the box now. I like it in there. It's nice
    and quiet.

Every now and again I delete the people in my kill-file list too. Most
of the time, there's not much effect, since a lot of those trolls have
gone away... and the few that remain are easily caught.

There's no real reason for me to ever clean-out the killfiles, except
--having started to compute back in the resource-starved days of
8-bits and (later) DOS-- I still instinctively try to optimize even
    when there's no need.

I just checked my kill filter and only one poster still posts that I
know of. I only see his posts when someone else replies to him. I tend
to only killfile people who personally attack me these days.

I killfiled a few people in this NG many years back.. I think all of
them got plonked between 2010 and 2014, but I've kept them filtered
all of that time, simply because when I decide to plonk someone it's
never for a one-off type of minor offense. It's when their behavior
belies a personality that displays egregious passion and ongoing
commitment to being an incurable douchebag. I've just found that
those types of wankers never change, and if you allow yourself to
invest time in reading what they write after you've identified them,
it's a waste of life. Giving them another chance will only lead to
wishing you had that time back, nothing to gain.

Every now and then a troll will do a drive-by on me just for sport. It
doesn't bother me at all, especially if it's funny. But I don't think
I've actually needed to add to the filter in a very long time, like 12
    years or so.

You've never been in my kill-bin, buddy. Partially because you do have interesting things to say, but mostly for the irony of this pot/kettle
    toxic agressiveness. You're hilarious.

But you won't read this, because you can dish it but can't take it.
That's why you have a killfile sir, not for the above stated reason.

I'll await for your next hilarious, ironic rant about what a bunch of
pussies people are in the gaming industry. ;^)

My killfile is pretty empty, I always feel bad blocking people out like
that. The only thing there is a rule to hide posts crossposted to
    certain groups.

Not much. I've never had one. Whenever I say that, the bozos come out

Yes. I admit it. I do a limited amount of binaries on Usenet. (*shame*)
