Try a weapon that knocks target beck like bow of the bear.

Holy bolts only work on Skeletons, Zombies and Diablo.

He's vulnerable to all spells (lightning, fire, stone curse), except for >"magic" based spells (flash, blood star). Stone curse works real well
on all of the "leader" types.

Try firewall, let him walk to you through that wall of flame. By the time
he reaches you, he is toasted. Better yet, if he is in a room, throw the spell then close the door. That should do just nicely. Anyway, stone curse
is great except that it's not at all that common. I have level 21 mage,
and the best I can do is level 2 stone curse. I don't think many legitimate players in the 10-15 level range have stone curse.
