That can be played without crafting or resource management. I just want to
slay some monsters and go on non-complicated adventures!

I'm no expert in MMORPGs, but last time I played "Star Wars: The Old
Republic" (admittedly, more than 5 years ago) it didn't have any
crafting. Or rather, I think there may have been a crafting system
there, but it was quite secondary and unnecessary to actually playing
the game (maybe it was more important in PVP or if you wanted to get
the 'phat lewt'... but for ordinary questing I didn't find any need
for it). Just pick up your lightsaber and start blasting baddies.

Unfortunately crafting is here to stay. It was in Ultima Online,
Everquest etc. Original City of Heroes didn't have any but of course
they added it, and the Homecoming revival does, though I didn't find it
    too onerous.

That's pretty much all I can ask for anymore, crafting that isn't too annoying. IIRC Fallout '76 isn't bad, it's not a fantasy MMO though. Warframe's not bad (though grinding eventually becomes so, but you got a
good 6-9 months before I found it too annoying.)

Even with crafting it can be avoided in most if not all of them, just
grind for money/items and pay someone for their crafting. That's what
    makes it an MMO.

Am I sinful for enjoying PvP? Because that's what makes it an MMO to me.

    Yes!

    (but no, not really)

So long as your virtual murder is between two (or more) consenting
players, it's all good. Although if your ganking newbs, you deserve
the most hellish punishment available: playing "Ride to Hell:
Retribution" until the end of time. ;-)

    MultiPlayerAngband / Tales/Troubles of Middle-earth (TomeNet, networked)
is best and you can even install graphical tiles (though harder to tell difference between creatures such as humanoinds such as a beggar and a vampire, without ASCII).

To me it's merely a sign of high security clearance. Those weren't 6th
grade Elementary School Apple 2s where I hacked into the national
    Genocide game.
