I received a message tonight when I opened Hogwasher that it will not work with the next mac update. It is looking like support for apps that need rosetta to run is coming to an end. I am hoping an update might still be in the works because I really like this newsreader. Currently installed on an M1 Max MacBook Pro.

MacOS 27 will be the last version to *fully* support Rosetta 2. There
will still be "limited support" in MacOS 28, and probably none at all
in MacOS 29. (Quite what "limited support" actually means remains to be
    seen.)

That means you'll either have to find a replacement newsreader or not
upgrade to MacOS 28 ... or you could keep running MacOS 27 in a virtual machine (Parallels, Fusion, etc.) alongside MacOS 28 for all the apps
    that don't need Rosettta 2.

I emailed the developer a few days ago and he said he was “on it”.
