    Janice may have had poor eyesight, but she could spot errors in BBS bulletins that I never saw. And, with the doorgames, she was a great winner...but she was a sore loser. <G>

    No matter how hard I tried I was never any good at the door games. I still enjoyed playing them, but it seemed like I was never able to get the best of anyone on any of them. When everyone started bailing from the BBS scene for the Internet I was one of the die hards who held out and tried to help keep
    the BBSes going. One of the only "good" things at that time from my perspective was that so many people quit calling and playing the games that I could actually win since I was the only one in many of the games. :)

    I made the values in some of the games where it's easy for folks to earn stuff. However, I won't go after them unless attacked.

    But, I've had so much else in my life outside the BBS lately, that I've
    been lucky to even logon just to take care of my QWK Mail. I recently had
    2 message networks "dropped in my lap", but with all the other stuff in
    my life lately, I just don't have the time or resources to devote to them. While I hate to do it, I may just let them "go into the sunset", since
    there are other FTN networks with similar topics (and games) already.

    Right now, with issues around the house...never mind I just got my first
    of two COVID-19 shots, I want to get that squared away first.
