The city, [4]Chicago, was actually perfectly right-side up. The long shadows it projected onto nearby Lake Michigan near sunset, however, [5]when seen in reflection, made the buildings appear inverted. [6]This fascinating, puzzling, yet beautiful [7]image was captured by a [8]photographer in 2014 on an airplane on approach to [9]Chicago's [10]O'Hare International Airport. [11]The Sun can be seen both above and below the cloud deck, with the latter reflected in the [12]calm lake. As a [13]bonus, if you look really closely -- and this is quite a challenge -- [14]you can find another airplane in the image, likely also on approach to the same [15]airport.
